The Future of the Gelato Cup
Announcing the Gelato Cup Screening Centre.
The Gelato Cup is pleased to announce our continued support of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
The Gelato Cup Board of Directors has made a new $500,000 commitment to Sunnybrook and Cancer Screening. With your assistance, The Gelato Cup Screening Centre will be a centerpiece of Imaging and Cancer Screening at Sunnybrook.
The Gelato Cup Screening Centre will house state of the art imaging equipment, including a 3T MRI, which will set the standard for the highest possible imaging quality. This new equipment will detect cancers at their earliest and maximize the benefits of treatment.
The Gelato Cup Screening Centre will also serve as a place for researchers to collaborate, and share information to help detect not only prostate cancer but vascular and heart disease.
Most importantly, our Centre will help make patients feel comfortable and proactive about their illness rather than sick patients waiting for treatment.
